We know that natural farming is important for the taste experience. We also know that our discerning selection, with strict requirements for the animal's weight, form class, fat class and age, affects eating quality. Even the meat and fat colour has significance for our quality experience. These are the key prerequisites for NATURKÕTT® Pampas, but without a long maturation period, where the meat's own enzymes make the various muscles tender, we cannot guarantee the highest eating quality. Therefore, we guarantee that NATURKÕTT® Pampas products are always matured in their vacuum pack for at least four weeks.
Tenderloin
Beef tenderloin is a delicacy however it is served. This is particularly the case for NATURKÕTT® Pampas beef, which should really be used for tournedos and Chateaubriand rather than Biff Rydberg.
Striploin
Our NATURKÕTT® Pampas striploin is produced with a fat cover to give the best taste experience. The meat’s flavour is intensified during cooking with fat cover on - regardless of whether the steak is cooked whole or in slices. Try grilling frying slightly thicker slices (at least 2.5 cm) for a slightly longer time (e.g. four minutes per side) on a slightly lower heat. Then slice crosswise into smaller, thinner slices before serving.
Entrecote
The core and marbling in NATURKÕTT® Pampas entrecote makes it wonderfully tasty and juicy. This is the big favourite in restaurants in Buenos Aires and Montevideo. It’s often eaten just as it is - a grilled thick slice, lightly salted and with no accompaniment.
Rump steak
Top sirloin is a much-appreciated part to grill in South America. Another very simple way to cook this delicious product is to roast it in the oven at low temperature for a longer time. The internal temperature should be a maximum of 60 degrees C degrees for a rare/medium rare.
Rump filet
NATURKÕTT® Pampas tenderloin fillet is very tender and tasty and can be cooked like beef tenderloin: fried in slices or whole to an internal temperature of 58-60 degrees C. Our tenderloin fillet is the choice of meat lovers who appreciate a good meat flavour.
